How To Unlock/Restore Speed for M1P, M1, M8, M2 Electric Motorcycles
For the European market and the USA, electric scooters must pass the EEC certification. Electric, as one of them, must also pass this certification. So you can buy CITYCOCO in European countries or United States or call it E Chopper (compared to city coco, e chopper, this name is more widely used in Europe). As long as it is imported through the regular channels, it will provide a COC certificate corresponding to some scooter parameters, including the maximum speed (usually 25 km/h or 45 km/h). Three steps to unlock and restore speed limit

Turn off the scooter, squeeze the brake and turn the throttle to the max at the same time

Turn on the scooter and wait more than 8 seconds, then cut off the power.

Turn on the scooter to test the speed. If you successfully unlock the speed limit, you will see the max speed on the display has exceeded 45 km/h

However, when you unlock the speed limit, there are some things that you need to pay attention to:
- Long-time continuous high speed will lead to a decrease in the range of a single charge.
- Unlike the default 25 km/h, this speed is breakneck, so please take safety measures when riding, such as wearing a helmet.
- Unlocking the speed limit may make your scooter lose the local warranty.
