What we received (pre‑order sample)

“The Engine 3.0 Pro we tested arrived pre‑production but highly representative: full suspension, removable battery, tidy wiring and a very confidence‑inspiring fold.”

From the moment we rolled it out, the Engine Pro 3.0 felt like Engwe’s most accomplished compact e‑bike yet — beefy boost, refined suspension and a folding layout that doesn’t feel compromised. Fit and finish were tidy; welds and bearings looked durable and the fold latch locked with confidence.

Quick specs (as tested)

  • Motor: EU‑legal 250W nominal (90 Nm boost)
  • Battery: 720 Wh removable Samsung cells
  • Range: ~130 km real‑world (PAS1)
  • Charge: ~3.5–4 hrs
  • Tires: 20" fat / puncture resistant
  • Drivetrain: Shimano 7‑speed
  • Suspension: full suspension
  • Waterproof rating: IPX5–IPX7

Riding — Power & Range

The 90 Nm boost is instant and muscular. In mixed conditions we saw ~110–130 km on PAS1. Use higher PAS levels and range drops accordingly — but still excellent for daily rides.

Handling & Comfort

Full suspension and fat tyres deliver plush comfort. Steering remains stable and predictable even at higher speeds — ideal for commuting or weekend exploration.

Build Quality & Weatherproofing

IP‑rated wiring, tight connectors and sturdy paintwork. The fold mechanism stayed solid after repeated testing, showing Engwe’s refinement over previous generations.

Verdict — InTheZone Review Team

The ENGWE ENGINE 3.0 PRO BOOST combines torque, range and comfort into a foldable powerhouse. With yellow accents lighting its path, this model defines modern mobility — bold, reliable and street‑ready.
