At the core of the ENGWE X Electric Bike is a 250W brushless rear hub motor delivering up to 55 Nm of torque, providing smooth acceleration and efficient pedal assistance for daily commuting. The motor is factory-limited to 25 km/h, ensuring compliance with EU e-bike regulations while still delivering responsive riding performance.

The ENGWE X Electric Bike is powered by a 48V 13Ah removable lithium-ion battery, allowing riders to travel 100–120 km in pedal-assist mode, depending on terrain, rider weight, and assistance level. The removable battery design makes charging convenient whether at home, in the office, or on the go.

Comfort and ride stability are major strengths of the ENGWE X Electric Bike. The bike features 20 × 4.0-inch fat tyres, providing excellent traction and shock absorption on asphalt, gravel, sand, and uneven terrain. The Engwe Engine X is a high-performance folding electric bike. 20-inch wide tyres, a built-in rear rack and a removable battery make this Engwe a rigid utility bike ready to take on any environment.
This bike is designed for comfort and practicality. It has a soft leather saddle, front and rear suspension, pre-installed mudguards and built-in front and rear lights.
The Engine X has a twist-throttle, five levels of pedal assist and an 8-speed manual Shimano gears. It also has a backlit LCD screen that is easily read in bright sunlight.
