Full-Size 26″ E-Bike with 70Nm Torque, 48V 16Ah Removable Battery, Dual Suspension & Hydraulic Disc Brakes
The ENGWE E26 is built for riders who want a more substantial e-bike experience: full-size wheels, wide fat tyres, stronger comfort and a planted ride across city roads, rougher lanes and mixed everyday surfaces. With both High-Step and Step-Thru frame options, the E26 combines all-terrain presence with practical everyday usability.
The E26 is nearly two metres long and weighs more than 33 kg, so the right buying question is not “will it feel substantial?” It will. The more useful question is whether your storage, access and daily riding routine suit a bike of this scale.
The two E26 versions share the same large-format riding concept, but the frame choice changes everyday access. This is more important than choosing purely by appearance.
The lower-access frame is the more practical choice if easier mounting matters, particularly for frequent stop-start riding, limited hip mobility or riders who simply prefer not to swing a leg high over the frame.
The conventional frame format gives the E26 a more traditional large-bike profile. Choose it if that riding position and frame style better match your preference.
ENGWE publishes an up to 140 km PAS figure, but maximum-range numbers are achieved under specific test conditions. Real ownership is better planned around your normal route with battery reserve left over.
More total weight means the motor and battery work harder, particularly during acceleration and climbing.
Hills, headwinds and repeated stop-start riding can reduce achievable distance considerably.
Stronger assistance normally consumes more energy. Lower assistance preserves battery range.
The E26's large wheel format and high-volume tyres favour stability, cushioning and confidence across imperfect surfaces. That is the reason to choose this platform — not portability.
More tyre volume, stronger road presence, greater cushioning over rough tarmac and a calmer feel across mixed everyday surfaces.
A physically larger bike, more weight, greater storage requirements and more effort if the bike ever has to be moved without assistance.
The E26 is heavier than a lightweight commuter, so tyre condition, brake condition and correct pressure matter more as speeds and loads increase.
Allow more stopping distance when carrying additional weight, riding downhill or travelling on wet surfaces.
Regularly inspect pads, rotors and braking feel, especially if the bike is used frequently on hills.
Pressure affects handling, rolling resistance, comfort and battery efficiency.
Choose it if you want full-size stability, fat-tyre comfort, long-distance capability, generous payload capacity and a bike that feels substantial on mixed everyday surfaces.
A smaller or folding model may make more sense if stairs, public transport, compact storage or frequent car-boot loading are part of your normal routine.
No. The E26 is a full-size, non-folding platform. Its approximate total length is 194.5 cm, so storage space should be considered before ordering.
ENGWE lists the Step-Thru at approximately 33.5 kg and the High-Step at approximately 34.5 kg.
ENGWE lists approximately 5.5 to 6 hours for a full charge.
No. It is a manufacturer maximum PAS reference. Actual distance depends on rider weight, terrain, wind, temperature, tyre pressure and assistance level.
ENGWE currently lists approximately 5.6 ft to 6.5 ft as its recommended rider-height range.
The E26 makes the most sense when the bike can live at ground level and spend most of its life being ridden, not carried. If your priorities are comfort, larger-bike stability and broader everyday terrain capability, that is exactly where this platform earns its size.
